My apologies,

This site is a blog and I discuss topics, but do not have materials for study. I suggest checking some of my links for CPA study providers.

Good Luck!

Almost all new businesses use either Peachtree or QuickBooks. If you are just starting out I advise more of my clients to use QuickBooks as it is geared towards the non-accounting individuals. It is great tool to track how your business is doing without a lot of major work.

I have more information at my new website www.power-abacus.blogspot.com.

Thank you for the detailed comparison. I was wondering if all small-businesses today use either Peachtree or Quickbooks? Are these the recommended programs of use for new businesses?

# Current assets:
cash and other assets convertible into money or exhausted comparatively at a short period of time through use in the business, are called current assets. The short period generally means one year or less from the date of balance sheet.
In a service oriented business there are generally four categories of current assets:
1. cash 2. short term investment, 3. accounts receivable and notes receivable, 4. prepaid expenses and accrued income but not received.

I have an excel file that has 8 sheets on one doc. I would like to be able to have one master for colums A,B,C,D & E on all 8 sheets and not have to go to each cell in each row and copy and paste like you said above. It would also be helpful to do this per colum cause at times we add in rows to add more to the list keeping it in alpha order. At the moment we have to add it to all 8 sheets and it is a pain doing this, do you know of a way to do this? We have multiple sheets per customer with different information on each to print out for hard copies. Thanks

You could try this, but without being able to see what is actually occurring, this is a guess. In Excel in the Edi drop down there is a selection called Links. This can be used to complete the link I think you are trying to make.

The link dialogue box should allow you to be able to link your worksheet "try" to the one you want to pull the worksheet into.

Try that and it may solve your issue.
